As the barbecue season arrives, gathering with family and friends to enjoy delicious food and good times, barbecuing undoubtedly becomes one of the most popular outdoor activities. ARMEATOR ONE has now become an essential tool for numerous barbecue enthusiasts.
To use this thermometer accurately and make the most of its capabilities, we have compiled the following tips to help you get the most out of it.
Keep the Dock Close to the Oven:
When using the wireless meat thermometer for grilling, ensure that the dock is near the probe. Although we have tested the wireless range between the dock and probe to be over 229 ft in our experiments (under open area conditions), to ensure a stable connection, it is recommended to keep the base as close to the probe as possible when inserting it into the meat and placing it in the cooking equipment.
Avoid Large Obstacles Between the Mobile Device and Dock:
Our product uses Bluetooth communication, which means that the signal may be weakened by physical obstacles such as walls, furniture, or other electronic devices. Just like using Bluetooth earphones, if you leave your phone in the room and walk out of the house, the signal is likely to be lost.
In practical tests, we measured the distance between the dock and the mobile device to be over 229ft (under open area conditions). To achieve the best range, we recommend placing the base in a clear line of sight to reduce signal interference.
Keep the Thermometer Dry and Clean:
The dock not only receives signals but also charges the wireless thermometer. When you take out the wireless probe for use, you will notice two raised metal parts at the dock, which are the contact points for charging the probe.
Therefore, after using the ARMEATOR ONE, make sure to keep the thermometer dry and clean to ensure a smooth connection during charging. Avoid oil stains or un-dried water droplets that may obstruct charging.
How to Clean the Probe:
ARMEATOR ONE is made of food-grade stainless steel and ceramic, making it easy to clean. After use, you can wipe it with a kitchen towel or cloth, or rinse it with running water.
Additionally, the ceramic part of our probe is white, which may turn black during barbecuing. This is normal due to carbon elements in flames and smoke, which can leave black marks when they come into contact with the ceramic surface. Prompt cleaning will restore the white ceramic to its original shine. If you find wiping ineffective, we recommend using toothpaste or ceramic stove cleaner for cleaning.
Addressing Connection Issues:
When the app indicates that the product is disconnected, please check the prompt displayed on your phone's screen.
●If the dock and phone are disconnected, check if your phone is too far from the dock or if there are obstacles affecting the signal.
●If the probe and dock are disconnected, check if the dock is close to the meat thermometer or if there are obstacles affecting the signal.
If the above methods are still ineffective, you can follow these steps to re-pair the probe and base:
1. Remove the probe from the dock and press the dock button to activate it.
2. Place the probe back into the base.
3. Hold down the power button on the dock for 10-15 seconds until the signal light starts flashing white.
We also provide a video for your reference. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service team, and we will provide you with a satisfactory solution.
Extra Tips:
- If you purchase more than two ARMEATOR ONE and accidentally put the probes in the wrong boxes, you can use the above-mentioned method to re-pair the probes and docks so that the probes in the docks can continue to work perfectly with the bases.
- Our base uses 2*AAA batteries, which can last for 4-6 months (depending on usage frequency), and it takes only 15 minutes to fully charge the meat thermometer.
