Apple cider vinegar
●Thaw the chicken breast and bring it to room temperature and use paper towels to dry the surface of the chicken. Season the bottom side with BBQ rub, then wait for 3-5 minutes before flipping it over and applying barbecue rub to the other side.
●Preheat the smoker to 225℉.
●Insert the wireless meat thermometer—ARMEATOR ONE into the chicken breast and turn on the Bluetooth to connect it with your phone. Open the APP and set your desired temperature. We recommend a temperature of 160℉. Then, wrap the chicken breast in aluminum foil and place it in the smoker until the APP notifies you.
●After removing the chicken breast from the smoker, let it rest for 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165℉ (74℃).
●In a small bowl, mix apple cider vinegar, mayonnaise, and honey. Season with salt. Add chopped cabbage, carrots, and apples. Add lemon juice and a little water to prevent browning.
●Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, top with arugula, freshly cooked chicken, apple slaw, and the top bun. Your BBQ CHICKEN SANDWICHES WITH APPLE SLAW are now ready to be enjoyed!
